Delete your Rarest Krill account
Last updated: 2026-10-15
Rarest Krill's iOS and Android apps are operated by AFK LLC. This page explains how to request deletion of your Rarest Krill account and associated account data, including if you no longer have the app.
Publisher's address: 30 N Gould St, Ste N, Sheridan, WY 82801, US.
Request deletion without the app
Email support@rarefind.io with the subject Delete my Rarest Krill account. Include the email address of the Rarest Krill account you want deleted and say that you want the account and its associated account data deleted. If possible, send the request from that account's email address. You do not need to reinstall the app to submit this request.
Email an account deletion request
If you signed in with Apple and chose to hide your email, your account email is a relay address ending in @privaterelay.appleid.com. Include it if you know it (it is shown in the app's Account tab), or say that you used Sign in with Apple and give the address where you receive Rarest Krill's messages.
Do not send your password, sign-in code, payment-card details or authentication token. If you cannot access the account's email address, explain that in your request. We may need to verify that you control the account before processing deletion, to prevent someone else deleting it. Contact the same address for help with that verification or the status of a request.
Delete from the Rarest Krill app
Sign in to Rarest Krill, open Account → Data → Delete my account, type the account email address and confirm. If you signed in with Apple and hid your email, type the relay address (it ends in @privaterelay.appleid.com) or the confirmation word shown in the field. The confirmation screen explains the effect on the account and existing subscriptions before deletion. Signing out alone does not delete your account.
What account deletion removes
The account-deletion service removes your authentication account and the game data linked to that account, including synchronised dive history and account access. The identifiers, email address and name received from Apple or Google are removed with the authentication account. Identified account analytics are removed before the authenticated account is deleted. Deletion of the account and game history is permanent. The live account link to paid access is removed; limited billing and purchase records may remain as explained below. Eligible Apple or Google Play access can be restored to a recreated account through the verified recovery process, without recovering old game history.
The confirmed deletion flow also cancels existing subscriptions taken out outside the app. It does not issue an automatic refund. On iPhone and iPad, Premium is an annual Apple subscription with a one-week free trial for eligible new subscribers; on Android versions supporting Google Play billing, it is an annual Google Play subscription with a 7-day trial for eligible accounts. Deleting a Rarest Krill account does not cancel either subscription and does not refund a store purchase; manage them separately with Apple or in Google Play. Any verified Apple lifetime purchase from an earlier iOS build is a one-time purchase with nothing to cancel.
Apple handles refund requests for Apple-billed purchases under its terms and applicable consumer protections. Apple explains how to request a refund. A subscription taken out outside the app is managed where it was taken out.
Apple subscriptions, Sign in with Apple and account deletion
Open Account → Manage my access → Manage my Apple subscription, or Settings → [your name] → Subscriptions on your iPhone or iPad, with the Apple Account used for the purchase; see Apple's cancellation instructions. Deleting the Rarest Krill account, signing out or uninstalling the app does not cancel an Apple subscription and does not refund a purchase. Cancel at least 24 hours before renewal to stop the next charge, and at least 24 hours before an eligible free trial ends to avoid its annual charge.
You can still delete the Rarest Krill account. The app explains that Apple billing continues and asks you to acknowledge it before confirmed deletion; it does not require you to cancel first. Account deletion removes the current account link and game data. Limited billing and original ownership records remain separately for verification, pending purchases, subscription updates and eligible restoration.
If you signed in with Apple, Rarest Krill's server then asks Apple to revoke the token it holds for Rarest Krill. If Apple cannot be reached, revocation is retried automatically later; deletion of the account does not wait for it. After revocation, Rarest Krill no longer appears among the apps using Sign in with Apple in your Apple Account settings. You can also stop using Sign in with Apple with Rarest Krill yourself in Settings → [your name] → Sign in with Apple (Apple's instructions); that alone does not delete your Rarest Krill account.
Google Play subscriptions and account deletion
Open Account → Manage my access → Manage my Google Play subscription (Account → My Premium access in earlier versions of the app), or follow Google's cancellation instructions with the Google Account used for the purchase. Deleting the Rarest Krill account, signing out or uninstalling the app does not cancel a Google Play subscription and does not automatically refund a purchase. Cancel before an eligible free trial ends to avoid its annual charge. See Google Play refund information for refund requests and applicable rules.
You can still delete the Rarest Krill account. The app explains that Google billing continues and asks you to acknowledge that before confirmed deletion; it does not require you to cancel your Google subscription first. Account deletion removes the current account link and game data. Limited billing and original ownership records remain separately for verification, pending purchases, subscription updates and eligible restoration.
To restore eligible Google Play access after deleting an account, use the Google Account that purchased it. Recreate or sign in to Rarest Krill with the same verified email previously bound to the purchase, then open Account → Already purchased? Restore my access (Account → My Premium access in earlier versions of the app) and choose Restore Google Play purchases. Rarest Krill verifies Google's purchase state and the retained ownership binding. Recovery cannot transfer a purchase held by another existing Rarest Krill account, reverse a refund or restore expired access or deleted game history. Contact support@rarefind.io if you cannot access the original email or if verification is interrupted.
Restore an eligible Apple purchase after deletion
Use the Apple Account that made the purchase. Recreate or sign in to Rarest Krill with the same verified email previously bound to the purchase, then open Account → Already purchased? Restore my access and choose Restore Apple purchases. Rarest Krill verifies the Apple transaction and the retained server purchase binding. Recovery can attach an eligible subscription or lifetime purchase of a deleted account to that recreated account; it cannot transfer a purchase belonging to another existing account, undo an Apple refund or revocation, restore expired access or restore deleted game history. If you used a hidden Apple address, sign in again with Apple using the same Apple Account and choose to hide your email again; if the relay address differs from the one bound to the purchase, contact support@rarefind.io.
If you cannot access the original verified email, or verification is interrupted, contact support@rarefind.io. Do not purchase again merely because restoration is interrupted. App Store availability, device restrictions and the account's verified status can affect this process.
What may be retained
Limited purchase, subscription, invoice and ownership records can remain where needed for billing, purchase security, valid purchase ownership, restoration, refunds, disputes or applicable legal obligations. Apple purchase bindings, subscription and lifetime purchase records retain the original and later app-account tokens, relevant transaction and account identifiers, the private keyed fingerprint of the previously verified email, dates and status. These records remain separate from deleted game history so interrupted or pending purchases, subscription updates from Apple and eligible deleted-owner restoration can be handled. They have no automatic fixed expiry in the current purchase flow; this is not a claim that every retained record has a mandatory statutory retention period. A Sign in with Apple refresh token is kept, encrypted and unlinked from any account, only until Apple confirms its revocation. Contact support@rarefind.io about these retained records and an applicable privacy request. An announcement refusal record may be retained to respect an earlier unsubscribe request. Network-derived answer measurements are not directly attached to the account and can remain until the applicable statistics purge. Repeated, normalised forms of unrecognised answers can remain in the catalogue-improvement worklist without a fixed expiry. Hosting, authentication, email and billing providers may retain records needed for their services and applicable obligations. The mobile privacy policy explains these categories and the limits of expiry versus technical deletion.
A purchase preparation binding can remain after account deletion even if you cancelled the Apple payment sheet or did not complete a purchase. Its original account identifier and keyed email fingerprint remain personal data; they are not anonymous. The Apple purchase ledger does not retain the full signed transaction payload or payment-card details.
Google billing records retain the original account identifier, an opaque keyed account identifier, a private keyed fingerprint of the previously verified email, an encrypted purchase token and its fingerprint, relevant product and purchase identifiers, subscription and verification dates and status, renewal, trial/testing and acknowledgement records, and notification identifiers. These records can remain after account deletion, including preparation before a cancelled or incomplete purchase. They remain personal data and currently have no automatic fixed expiry. The Google billing ledger does not retain payment-card details or plaintext emails; authentication providers separately process account emails. Contact support@rarefind.io about these retained records and applicable privacy requests.
Local preferences and the local dive log are separate from the online account. To remove only the local log, use Account → Data → Clear local dive log, or remove the app's data from your device. Clearing the local log does not delete the account or already synchronised history.
